Even on the forums where I debate politics and other things infowars is considered a non-credible source of info. But if you want to use it and rense and any other site you wont go right ahead. Just don't expect to be taken seriously.
< I bet you read Scripture this way too. And not just Daniel.> Don't be such an objectionable dimwit. I accept the inspiration of the entire scripture and do not pick and choose because I do not understand or enjoy. Do not lower yourself to the level of the atheist. Obama IS in a cult of personality but all such cults lose favour very quickly when their hero is forced to prove himself as Obama is now. Have you ever wondered why obama is so liked and people are having a great hope in him? Its not because of messiah-complex or idol worship. For the most part (nutjobs excluded) they have found a politician with some genuine leadership skills and is an inspirational speaker that attracts people. Perhaps it is also because America is in such desperate trouble that the people are looking for someone to lead them out of the mess. And you have to admit that GWB was perhaps the most UNinspirational leader you have had in a generation. Obama is filling the vacuum of a generation that has had no-one to hope in for a long time. Right or wrong the reason behind his popularity is far more explainable than your want to believe. Was martin luther-king a false messiah? Or is it only important that a man not be popular or well liked if he is president? -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Bob Calco Sent: Monday, 23 February 2009 5:08 PM To: 'ProFox Email List' Subject: RE: [OT] Land of the Free > <http://www.infowars.net/articles/january2009/280109Obama_worship.htm> > > When you quote this or ANYTHING on infowars your credibility dives and > your > CT rating increases. I think you may be the laziest person I've ever debated on this list. You look for any excuse not to pay attention to the obvious. And who appointed you some kind of intellectual Nielsons rating? Besides yourself I mean. I also in that list quote mother jones (no right wing rag, that), slate and the huffing-and-puffington post, politico if I recall. Many of them tackle this question of his messianic appeal/complex. It was a simple Google search. And I went out of my way to list at the top some from Australia. So you find one in there you think is objectionable and use it to ignore the rest. I bet you read Scripture this way too. And not just Daniel. > You still have failed to demonstrate anything > beyond > cult of personality (ie there is no DIVINE WORSHIP). And then you raise the bar. I'm not requiring the worship to be "divine" -- that's a nice little nitpicky point you throw in there, as your ultimate out. I don't agree that for it to be worship it (or its object) must be divine, and I certainly don't agree Obama is divine. But I do maintain he's being worshipped by an alarming number of people (the townhall made this obvious to me in a very disturbing way), and that this has been cultivated by design, based on his proven ties to a.) liberation theology and b.) the political tactics espoused by Saul Alinsky. They both see religion and the cultivation of religious-like fervor as a means to push radical agendas, destructive of the middle class. The term "community organizer" was coined by Alinsky, Obama wrote a chapter in a book "After Alisky" (it was Chap 4, and the prose in that sounds like he talks without a teleprompter, and NOTHING like his memoirs), and Rev. Wright has boasted of his church's grounding in the writings of James Cone, specifically WRT Black Liberation Theology. You have yet to refute any of the salient facts about Obama's relationship to these influences in his early political life and career. Given how lazy you are I'm not holding my breath. You're just going to keep muttering "CT" and "your credibility is sinking" and "your opinion isn't popular" and blah and blah and blah and blah. - Bob > > Anyone that says there is a cult of divine worship of Obama deserves > > all the > > mocking he gets.
