My problem with Terminal server is that you can't talk to a customer about 
what is seen on screen.

Also, you can't have someone else log on to the box and both of you discuss 
what you are seeing. TS sessions are independent "fake" sessions of the 
console (oversimplification).

I think Terminal Server for Win 2003 may have added another option to be 
able to get to the console, but that one is definitely 
single-user-at-a-time-only restricted.

I don't know if all this is still pertinent to the original topic. Maybe 
someone just wanted a way to run VFP apps remotely. TS works well with that 
(as does VNC of course).

And yep, you can do most things from TS as you could from the console, but 
since my VNC set up gives it all to me I haven't bothered with TS in most 
cases.
