Yeah, I remember your comment about not liking the Beretta double action, long 12 lbs trigger pull on the initial shot with a lighter single action pull thereafter. This can be overcome by cocking the Beretta with your thumb for the first shot, making it single action all the way through. Also, the Beretta has a manual safety, and the only safety on the Glock is controlling the trigger, if I understand it correctly, but I can leave the safety off my Beretta if I like, so that kind of evens out.
I understand the Glock has a single, light 5 lb trigger pull on each shot , but I've heard the light trigger pull could cause an accidental discharge during a panic or other confrontation. The Glock sound like it would be a no brainier to shot, while someone might need to remember to click off the safety before making a long double action initial trigger pull with their Beretta, but with training these action become automatic. I keep my Beiretta's lock in a Gunvault Multivault Deluxe safe near the bed with a round already in the berrel, a clip with 18 rounds already inserted and ready to go, and the safety off, and I can open the safe in a couple of seconds, so I'm happy. ;-) Regards, LelandJ John wrote: > I've got two of those things.
