Hi Geoff! Americans typically keep their guns loaded and in their pockets :-) As Marshall Reuben J. "Rooster" Cogburn (True Grit) told the judge, "a gun that isn't loaded and cocked isn't good for anything". It is a different, proactive culture over here. A couple of years ago Florida passed a "stand your ground" law. Now crooks and crook's family members and common law girlfriends can't sue victims who shoot them. That said, I have never shot anyone. I know cops who have never shot anyone. -- Regards, Pete http://pete-theisen.com/ http://elect-pete-theisen.com/ _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[email protected] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
