Great idea but you will find that nothing is like VFP.  Air
development is focused on the combination of great looks as well as
great functionality.

If you have an artistic mindset you will flourish in the creativity
that Air gives.  If your purely data centric then you will feel uneasy
with your final products because they don't have that polished look
others do.
