There is a great old David Steinberg bit about when he was called at the last minute to open a concert for Richie Havens. There wasn't an announced opening act, much less a comedian, and the audience didn't react kindly -- to say the least. The tag line for the bit was "greed almost cost me my life." Same here. Conditions seemed right for one last hurrah for the good ol' Fox. I felt I could knock it out in a few hours and have a profitable little project. "Nevermore!"
