Wages are mostly on the order of $7 per hour, when you can find work at all. I am currently getting 7 hours per week at $9.50, that only to prevent me from filing for unemployment. We still have high prices, though, since most tourists will pay anything. The median household income you see in the stats doesn't reflect what people really live on because there are a handful of rich people who make (or rather, receive, without doing anything) millions per hour. This skews the average to the point of meaninglessness. -- Regards, Pete http://pete-theisen.com/ http://elect-pete-theisen.com/ _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[email protected] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
