Hi Dave Not quite what I was after but very pretty all the same. I can put it to good use elsewhere if that's OK with you.
The list box is almost the height of the form which automatically sizes to the available application screen. There is a text box above which is were I want to be able to type in the Stock Code. The Stock code is formatted, Company i.e. "AWG" + Year "09" + Stock No "2" + "a Suffix i.e. "UN" which gives "AWG09-2-UN" or "AWG09-1432-UN" I can look for the code in the cursor "TempStock" and then set the list box's "ListIndex" to the record no but, It I don't always locate the record correctly so it the list box doesn't focus to the right record. I've set Exact off so that it locates the nearest but "AWG08-21" focus's on "AWG08-2-UN". Will pe5rsevere this evening unless anyone has any better suggestions.
