I deployed an application by placing the runtimes for VFP7 and VFP9 in
c:\users\public\applications and everything worked great. The customer
- a major corporation - says their policy is as follows:

"Our standard packaging method and packaging best practices
are to include what are call merge modules into our packages
which install the standard runtime files on the machine and
self register them. Would you know if that would be an issue
if we follow that process instead of copying the runtime
files to the “c:\users\public\applications” folder?"

My question is all of my research, development and testing has been done
with the runtimes in the applications folder. Will there be any issues
with installing VFP7 and VFP9 normally on Vista and leaving my
application in the applications folder?

TIA
