So, NJ may get a refund... How about all the convictions that may just get overturned that relied on the results of that unit? I know that if I had been convicted based on the readings from that unit, whether I was actually guilty or not, I would be all over that. But, I would be looking for the conviction to be overturned, followed by a civil lawsuit seeking damages due to my life being disrupted due to the faulty readings (go ahead, prove I was wrong!). Poor bastards, they are dead meat. There is no way they will be able to survive this - probably a good thing as I am certain lots of folks who were "OJ Innocent" likely got convicted based on faluty readings. Did y'all catch how they were calculating average values? Progressive average of averages. Even a 5th grade student ought to know better than that! Then again, I should also <g>.
