Hi Mike, Take a look at Joomla, my techie guy set it up for me for my election site on a standard web space. It was at GlowHost but now it is at ASmallOrange. If you want to farm it out to him let me know, but you could do it yourself - it is supposed to be very easy. Very easy for the user to add pages, videos, pictures and stuff, next to no HTML exposure. I didn't use ads, forums and blogs, but you could. Most hosts let you set Joomla up in CPanel but my guy likes ssh. http://www.joomla.org/ http://www.glowhost.com/ http://www.asmallorange.com/ The paypal thing was about $15, there are free ones but this one had to be configurable for a maximum contribution of $200. It isn't up right now - I can't solicit donations until the next campaign. It was written/sold by some guy in Vietnam, "Joom Donation", he calls it. http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/e%252dcommerce/donations/7094/details My other site is also Joomla. -- Regards, Pete http://pete-theisen.com/ http://elect-pete-theisen.com/ _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[email protected] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
