Problem was, in the name of "affordable housing" we gave them homes whether
or not they had a job, then the Madoffs and Rubins of Wall Street invented
funky derivative securities on top of them with tax cheats like Tim Geitner
overseeing the banks and ethically challenged numbskulls like Barney Frank
sleeping with execs at Freddie Mac and protecting risky investments of
Franklin Raines at Fannie Mae from Bush regulators.
