Hi Geoff! I *hope* to walk again, however. Accident, you know. It has been a while, though. In the US you have to be completely without income for 6 months to *apply* for disability. The first application is *always* refused, regardless of merit. Then you hire an attorney and sue, if you can. Can't sue until the first one is refused so you are looking at starving to death before it comes to court. Actuarial science is that a certain percentage will die working their way through the system and then the government gets to keep the money. It has been like this forever, nothing to do with either Bush or Obama, everything do do with the fact that congress has already spent the money buying votes and recreating themselves. -- Regards, Pete http://pete-theisen.com/ http://elect-pete-theisen.com/ _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[email protected] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
