I always shut off network scanning on all the clients I have seen some stupid-ass weird crap on Vista and it makes me very angry because you look like an idiot in front of the client.
1. Check op/locs 2. check anti-virus/anti-spyware 3. check permissions 4. check trusted site crap, Vista makes you jump through hoops of fire 5. turn caching off on server.
