I was part of the beta tester chat on this one and actively beta tested its predecessor OneCare. There are some 'gotchas' to be aware of with the application if you want to check it out. It takes over UAC settings on the PC. Yes, you can tweak them, but 'off' and 'minimal' are not options. The app communicates a lot with the MS mothership, so your exposure is increased. You get automatically signed up for MS updates / Office updates with the 'download and install automatically' defaulted. Direct beta testers have noticed issues with Explorer.exe hanging more frequently and some performance hits overall. As much as I aggressively loath the consumer level Symantec products, I'd say they can rest easy.
