Jim, Not true. MSDN keys are perpetual and don't expire. However Action pack keys do.

Which BTW, your not allowed to use any of the keys if your subscription is expired. A few months back Maplin (UK - and elsewhere for all I know) had a really good offer on a Media Centre PC - so I bought one. I knew I had XP-MCE on an MSDN DVD so I thought I'd have no problem - HOWEVER my msdn subscription expired a couple of years ago and when I try the ms site and go to the Product Keys page it says 'access is not allowed'. I've called ms and they tell me I should be able to get all generated keys - but it ain't so! Before I try getting ballistic with ms can anyone let me have a product key for XP-MCE thanks AndyD 8-)# [excessive quoting removed by server] _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/f0a9841ea46a458e9c5fe3f3b3ac6...@develop ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
