      I use PowerPoint to print textbook lecture notes.  I print the 
slides 2x2 in landscape.  This gets me a readable size.  I used to be 
able to print like this easily.  Now, with the ribbons version, it 
does not work.

      Sure, the setting is there, but the setting gets ignored.

      To get the correct output, I have to preview and set the 
orientation there.  It is quite noticeable when I have several 
chapters worth to print since I now have that many previews to close 
as well as the .ppt files.

      I am not keen to change software just to get another set of bugs.
