Hi All, I use Install Shield which comes with Vfp to distribute my apps. I have set the directory as say MyAppDir. I have not specified any drive as the user can select that.
Now what I have noticed is when the installer runs in nearly every PC it selects a random drive to install. Say the PC has C,d,e,& f. The install say shows F:\MyAppDir. Ok I change the drive to D:\MyAppDir and do the install. No problem. Now when the app runs mostly when I open a form with a activex date control the installer run and creates the directory F:\MyAppDir. If I delete it it gets created again. What am I setting wrong ? Not much of a problem but I find it irritating sometimes.
