1) No software for me to load and maintain/update (always reading others who battle updates). 2) Super simple to set up and configure. 3) All the intellectual property sits on my site so they cannot wipe it out (I do backups on periodic basis too). 4) Google is still updating to base software. 5) Not a real reason for me, but it is free too. Downfalls: 1) Pain in the neck templates are not all that flexible to work with. 2) Hosting on your Web site means you lose some cool gadgets technology.
