I use Trend Micro. I've not had it interrupt my tcp-ip programming (web access via winsock or xmlhttp) where I have had AVG do that. I'm the only Vista user in the office using Trend Micro, and the only one that can transfer a file from the Network to my local machine in seconds instead of minutes.
Tracy -----Original Message----- From: Ted Roche Sent: Wednesday, July 29, 2009 5:21 PM We've just brought a Vista machine in-house for testing our vertical niche VFP product. What's the recommendation for a reliable Anti-Virus. Used Norton and Symantec in the distant past and been burned by excessive CPU usage, program interference and impossible to remove. I've used AVG a while ago on XP, but I don't run any Windows machines currently. What are folks using these days? Recommendations pro and con appreciated. -- Ted Roche Ted Roche & Associates, LLC http://www.tedroche.com _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/001c01ca1098$6232f2e0$2698d8...@com ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
