The current plan is a Trojan horse for a single payer (no choice!) system.

The motivations behind the current plan are population control, and the
establishment of a permanent political regime with powers well beyond those
scoped and pared by our Constitution.

The people running it are incompetent self-proclaimed know-it-alls who
fundamentally hate limited republican self-rule and don't trust people with
their own resources. Actually they thing everything belongs to them to
"spread around".

The current system is riddled with government intervention and, like the
mortgage industry, experiencing huge inefficiencies as a result, but the
solution is not a giant, costly, impersonal bureaucracy, as they ultimately
wish to impose. If there were real market pressure from consumers brought to
bear on the producers by normal market means, costs would not be flying off
the handle. It's the Cloward-Piven strategy applied to health care, is all.

Other than that it's a great plan.
