Think I may be able to see an answer, how about an auto-inc Integer field
but seeded (next number) each day with:
(DATE()-{^1999/12/31})*(2**16)That would allow 65536 records per day, that is an awful lot of emails to receive in one day, and will work until September 2089 by which time the system will probably have been rewritten.
