Hi Sounds great, but... In real life sometimes I need to edit a record, or add one to a table. If I am using a feed from a seed table, I have more control of the records. I can know what comes next or analyze the gaps, among other things.
It is great when you need to create a test data, because the numbers r smaller. It's not advised but if you want to use the primary key as an access key, people will remember the numbers easily.
