Obama will move heaven and earth to meet with officials in Copenhagen to make sure his home town gets the Olympics, but he leaves his top commander in Afghanistan out to dry, won't talk with him more than once in 70 days since he put him in charge, and orders him to hush hush his urgent request for new troops as he votes present rather than take his advice. The only tough nut to crack on this decision is Obama's thick skull. It's either: 1. We really don't want to win the war, or don't think it'd be worth the cost. In this case, pull them out RIGHT NOW! OR 2. We affirm what we said during the campaign that Afghanistan is the real ball that needs to be watched, and the war we must win. So, if the commanders on the ground say this is what they need to win, GIVE IT TO THEM NOW! Obama's choice? 3. I'm too busy wooing dictators at the UN and pursuing the cause of my home town getting to host the Olympics. - Bob > -- > Stephen Russell > Sr. Production Systems Programmer > SQL Server DBA > Web and Winform Development > Independent Contractor > Memphis TN > > 901.246-0159 > > [excessive quoting removed by server] _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[email protected] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
