Yes, I normally do the same but using the "new" feature is a real ball
buster when you forget to uncheck the setting and it is so easy to do. Such
is progress and I can't believe that I am the only person do have been
tripped up with this.

Ok, I see that now.  FWIW I've never used the Properties box to change 
fonts, I always use the Format | Font menu, so that's why I've never 
seen it!
