I'm still working through small issues with running the VFP IDE on a Win 7 64-bit machine...
I'm not sure if this issue is unique to my machine, so I'm posting it here as a heads-up, and to see if anyone else has any experience with this... In the VFP IDE, if I make the dialog windows (i.e. Command Window, Properties, etc) "Dockable", then, whenever I drag them around by clicking in their title bar, they drag around very slowly. If I un-check the Dockable setting, they drag around very quickly, just like they did on my XP machine. At all times, the dialog will resize very quickly (Dockable or not); so it's only the dragging that it slow. Another interesting note is that Win 7 renders the dialogs with round corners when they are in Dockable mode, and square corners when non-Dockable. Must be a new OS convention Also, the Project Window always drags slowly, and it cannot be made non-dockable, however, even though it appears to be handled like a Dockable dialog, it has square corners, not round. I have a fairly nice video card that is plenty fast for all the other Win 7 feature. (Nvidia Quoadro FX3450/4000).
