This is a pick your enemy type of argument. Both sides took on different foes. We are now faced with attacking a country that has NO REAL VALUE, just a few pissed off people. Over thousands of years the local inhabitants in this area have won victory over the intruders. Why should we toss our good name onto the list. Instead why not take the cost of fighting the few bad guys who are just puppets and not the ruling leadership who can be tossed out and hung. We already know that from Iraq that didn't fix anything years later. So we look at the costs and now bring in hospitals, and power stations that say the military uses because they are mobile. We can come in and set up centers that will care for people and provide needed resources. All I am saying is that to get into the shin kicking game with these guys, they have lost the feeling in their legs. We on the other hand have not. So we rock them into a political slumber by providing necessary human needs that the population could use. These materials have to be manufactured in the USA to help propel our economy.
