I don't know is the short answer. There's definitely info floating
around out there about SMB2 being a problem with a few applications -
Access .MDB files are another I believe. The registry change to turn
SMB2 off was not published by Microsoft, it only came to light when a
security hole was found in SMB2 and Microsoft recommended turning SMB2
off until it was patched.
