The Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZC3 as it is know in North America,
or Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ7 as it is know in other places,
was ranked third in the point and shot category by Digital
Camera Info web site.

The DMC-ZC3 will shot high definition movies in either the
AVCHD format, which was developed jointly by Panasonic and
Sony, or the more tradition Motion JPEG format. The AVCHD
format in new and most software designed to work with video
files should quickly adopt it. The AVCHD format advantage
is a more compact file size, which mean you can make longer
movies that use less space and battery power that the same
movie made in Motion JPEG. The DMC-ZC3 camera allow zooming
in and out while the movie is being made, and the sound is
in stero.
