We just ordered refills for our CIS here: SuperSmartElectonics. We have not yet
refilled our CIS, but I have no reason
to think that the ink will be any different from the original. We paid $24.99
for 6 bottles of ink (Epson needs 6
different colors). The refills should last at least a year or more for the
amount of printing we do.

We don't print very much so our CIS has lasted us well over one year. We print
CDs and DVDs labels as well as regular
printing. It works ok and as others have said, it makes color printing cheap so
you don't even think about it. The Epson
does a good job of scanning.

We have an Epson Rx580. The printer was cheap and the ink is cheap if you have
a CIS. James mentioned having a document
feeder. Our Epson does not have that but maybe a different model would have it.

Where did you get this Epson refill system?

I just replaced an old HP home printer with an epson. I do not do
much printing at home maybe 500 - 1000 pages a year.

Having the gps or the phone I don't print maps anymore, rarely an
email. Mostly Orders for web purchases.
