Everybody knows the next big crisis for which we will have to fork over even more money to fund third world kleptocracies is AGUVE (Anthropogenic Global Underwater Volcano Eruptions).
I'm sure there are some clever statisticians at CRU who can jigger the data and write some fudge factors in IDL code to show a correlation between the last 100 years and a hockey stick increase in underwater volcanic eruptions. They'll just have to hide a few declines and off we go to another conference!
