Well, if it's really under $999, I can see your point. But I admit that my memory was reaching back 10 years ago when we were looking into a VeriSign certificate that was costing over $3000 iirc. Total bs, imo, for that kind of cost for what you're getting. But as you said, if you've got lots of customers, perhaps worth it. Here at the day gig (Sylvan), we've got over 1000 different places as customers, and we simply document "when you see this screen, press [OK]." Perhaps not as polished/professional as paying the extortion, er, uh, digital signature fee, but works fine and all of our customers trust us just fine....no one (afaik) raises a brow over it. -- Mike Babcock, MCP MB Software Solutions, LLC President, Chief Software Architect http://mbsoftwaresolutions.com http://fabmate.com http://twitter.com/mbabcock16 _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[email protected] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
