You get the problem now. It is not a country, nor a leader of a country like Hitler. It is a few assholes who want to hide and attack innocent civilians. What we need to do is to flood the airwaves with messages of how Islam is not about killing. It is about ... the whole litany on the good aspects of Islam. The trouble is that our experience is fighting an organization not individuals. Or fighting rats or cats. Kill one or a few and the leader role is quickly replaced in the short vacuum period. I do not think that this gives the USA authority to attempt to wipe out innocent people who live nearby as we get intell on probable locations. Taking out the bad guys yes but if they are hiding in a school or hospital no. Sucks to act in a responsible manner when your enemy exploits it as a weakness. I would like to see our plan of attack attacking their weaknesses as well. Set the sub cultures within the local society so they slow the growth of the radical rats. I tis the only way for the locals to want to stop it and not the USA or England coming over to do it. Can we help the locals? That is the part they are trying to learn these past 5 years. Just paying one group off is not the answer either. Building self esteem is probably the only plan with any measure of success. How do we employ such a policy is the hard part.
