The problem is that's not true. The Kor'an really does call for
beheading infidels, and converting non-believers by force. It really
does call for cruel treatment of women.

Muhammad was a pedophile with a mean streak. Nice guy other than that,
don't get me wrong, but a false prophet and a murderer to boot.

You can say lots of things about various denominations of
Christianity, but all of the evil done in the name of it over the ages
was totally outside the meaning of Christ's actual gospel---satanic
even---men twisting God's Word to justify fleshly endeavors.

There is no such disconnect between radical Islam and its founder.
