Which objective of the war with Iraq do you refer. As I remember the mission kept changing: 1) Attack Saddam Hussein and his regime; because, they were the perpetrator of the 911 attack against the USA. 2) Attack Saddam Hussein because he was a dangerous terrorist who had WMD, and was so cruel that he even used them against his own countrymen in atrocious act of murder. 3) Democratize Iraq to help stabilize the ME region and hope other countries would follow in Iraq's footsteps. 4) Create a long term presents in Iraq to prevent theocratic factions from waging civil war.
