I have been a long time Verizon user mainly because of excellent coverage when traveling. I previously had the Blackberry 8830 and liked it ok, but last week upgraded to the Droid. So far it is pretty incredible. You can tune your guitar, scan barcodes and they'll tell you where to get a good price on items, go geocaching, talk into the phone and it will translate it into Spanish or many other languages and vice versus. These are all free apps and are for my interests. There are quite a few others. Those are just the free ones.
Oh, and you can read your email and browse the web, too. Oh, and you can make phone calls, too. There are a lot of nice features and the way things work, but my wife's storm does a lot of them.
