I am upgrading my machine this week with a new installation of Windows 7
Ultimate as opposed to running the final RC version from September time.

When I tried this last night I also installed VFP9 SP2 and all was well.
Then I tried to uninstall VFP it just to see if everything was OK and
despite my frantic attempts the uninstaller refused to come up with an
uninstall option. Has anyone else had this problem. I must admit on the RC
version of Windows 7 this wasn’t an issue.

I had UAC uninstalled so no administrative problems.

I trawled around and saw a couple of posts on the boards that it was
recommended to install VFP into a non “Program Files” folder in Win 7 due to
write access restrictions, but surely this is only with UAC turned on but
the reason may well be linked with my problem or maybe the new windows
installer program in 7, in which case I think I’ll just create a “Programs”
folder myself.

Anyone else had similar problems?
