Thanks Grigore Im interested mainly from a .net point of view as it was mentioned by Steve that there was a .net connection. I find MSSQL such a pain as the permissions side means it works sometimes and not another. Well express anyway. I did find a dbf class but that was so badly explained it was unusable. So it looks like firebird might be a good find. Al
