I haven't tried PostgreSQL yet (but am getting ready to), but MySQL (for me, anyway) was very easy and compelling. Love to switch between local and web database with a simple config change. I use the SQLYog tool for schema management and couldn't be happier. I guess it was Bob Lee's presentation at WhilFest all those years ago (2003?) that got me hooked on it. The idea of having your VFP app connect easily to a web database and operate in the same fashion was incredible then (and still now) for me. -- Mike Babcock, MCP MB Software Solutions, LLC President, Chief Software Architect http://mbsoftwaresolutions.com http://fabmate.com http://twitter.com/mbabcock16 _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[email protected] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
