I haven't tried PostgreSQL yet (but am getting ready to), but MySQL (for
me, anyway) was very easy and compelling. Love to switch between local
and web database with a simple config change. I use the SQLYog tool for
schema management and couldn't be happier. I guess it was Bob Lee's
presentation at WhilFest all those years ago (2003?) that got me hooked
on it. The idea of having your VFP app connect easily to a web database
and operate in the same fashion was incredible then (and still now) for me.
