On what basis do you increment your application major, minor, build, revision (x.x.x.x) version numbers?
We auto-increment our build numbers on every compile. We don't use revision numbers. I assume that major and minor version numbers are typically dictated on the basis of marketing decisions vs. some hard-and-fast rule-of-thumb. Interested in how the rest of you are handling this issue.
