Charlie,

Just to clarify. The ZA problems I had had nothing to do with Win7.
They started occurring while I was still on W2K. (I refused to upgrade
to xp, at that point) And they were clearly Zone Alarm problems, as
evidenced by the huge amount of yelling in the support forums, and hasty
repairs put out by ZA at that time. I stayed the course for over a
year, but it finally became not worth it, so I un-installed it, and went
with no firewall at all, until my new computer died.

The next computer had Windows firewall installed, which I disabled.
The next one had it installed, and I didn't bother to uninstall it. I'm
not too worried about firewall issues now anyway, since I'm behind 2
routers.

Just wanted to clarify - no MS Fan boi here, this is just an example of
a company self-destructing.
