Program in question: legacy VB6 app that uses VFP6 object DLL

We've got a legacy app that is VB6 EXE that calls a VFP6 DLL. I've
introduced new VFP9 special database stuff in our free tables (like
BINARY indexes on logical fields, and auto-incrementing integer PK
fields). That legacy VB6 app is NOT liking this new stuff. I'm pretty
sure the VB6 app doesn't access the data directly, but instead uses the
VFP6 DLL for that.

Is there a way to get that VFP6 DLL to recognize the VFP9 runtimes so
that it doesn't have a problem with these new features?

tia!
