I'm no expert on ODBC or OLE DB but I believe there is a version of OLEDB on
the VFP downloads that is for VFP9. I have never used it so I don't know how
it works, if it works but it is there so I assume it does work. Sorry I
can't be of more help but maybe someone else will fill in

Gotcha.  Connection via OLE-DB allows VFP9 specific DBF enhancements, 
but ODBC does not.
