Interesting! Actually, when I 1st read your problem - I immediately thought about IE - figuring that VFP essentially opens the Help files within IE. I know that is the case with my 3D CG SW I use - and I figured it would be the same for VFP. Although, I will admit - I didn't take the leap to go into IE and think of changing its settings to fix your problem...
At least you got it working. Its strange that the menu is not viewable for you. But - again - I think that maybe the menu was turned off by something happening in IE! -K- -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Vincent Teachout Sent: Tuesday, June 15, 2010 12:25 PM Kurt Wendt wrote: > I just looked into that for you - and at the top of the Help - I see the > View option. OK, I do appreciate the quick responce, but I'm not THAT feeble! :-) There is no view option on my screen. Don't know why it's not there, but that's the first thing I looked for. Luckily, panic suggested a different set of Google search words, and I found this bizarre little snippet, which solved the problem. Didn't seem to matter WHAT you changed the setting too, as long as you changed the setting.(Weird!) Thanks, anyway, Kurt. ----------------------------------------------------------- This article was previously published under Q281482 SYMPTOMS When you open Help and Support in Windows Millennium Edition, you may find that the font size is too small to read. CAUSE This may occur if the Text Size setting in Microsoft Internet Explorer has been changed to Smaller or Smallest. Open Internet Explorer, select Text Size from the View menu, and change the setting to Medium, or Large. You must close and restart Help and Support for the change to take effect.
