Can you give us more info, i.e. where exactly he gets this error? I have
distributed VFP9 apps on Windows 7 64 bits and they run without problems, so it
must be something else, not the VFP's exe.

Subject: VFP on 64 bit

I have a client who has transferred one of my systems to 64 bit Windows 7 It
runs fine on my own Windows 7 laptop He gets a message that says "The version
of this file is not compatible with the version of Windows you're running.
Check your computer's system information to see whether you need an x86
(32-bit) or x64 (64 bit) version of the program, and then contact the software
publisher."

Is there something I can do or advise my client?
