Hi Sytze, All my apps have a table which each time a form or report is used logs the user, the form and the data & time they used it. I use this as an audit trail and also to see what forms etc. are being used the most and therefore would benefit from extra attention. It would help in your case probable to add a record when a for is opened the first time and then just increment a numeric field for how many times its been opened. The user field would be unnecessary, but the date time field would show when it was last used. In a multi user environment all users add to the same table, but if there was I field which showed which site was using the forms the data could be appended or added some way to a table in your office, to show what was happening at all sites.
Re Alan's email it is also worth looking at UBCD4 which does the same and more. I've had a brief look at Coverage profiler and am very confused by it. There used to be a very good program tree builder. Is there still something like that? I am tempted to "empty" the PJX file and let the system rebuild itself but that is dangerous because if a prg is built into a report, it doesn't automatically include such a prg. Maybe I should copy the whole lot into a temp folder and do this? Comments would be greatly appreciated -- Regards Sytze de Boer Kiss Systems Hamilton, NZ Ph: 64-7-8391670, Mob:64 21 937611 URL: www.kiss.co.nz --- StripMime Report -- processed MIME parts --- multipart/alternative text/plain (text body -- kept) text/html --- [excessive quoting removed by server] _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: ProFox@leafe.com Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/a57fa4cf19531343a2ee11b57db8e3af100...@server.peterhartcomputers.local ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
