Mike, They just need to work with it for a short while. They get used to it. Though it does take up a lot of the screen. It is possible to set it to auto-hide to reclaim the space. Tapping the Alt key presents letters which are key presses to get to where you want to go. Once the common tasks are seen, it's a big time saver.
