I talked to several IronPython and IronRuby geeks at DevLink and they feel
like they are getting the same treatment as Visual FoxPro. I mentioned to
them that they are in good company and actually are in better shape than the
Fox Community because they have the chance to find someone to move it
forward.

Going to take lots of time and someone with a budget (time, money or both)
to get it going. At least with IronRuby it sounds like the key dev plans on
staying involved, but in a reduced role. According to my sources, IronPython
is in decent shape even with a reduced team.

Still, Microsoft is doing itself more harm than good with this decision.
Sounds like more pointy-haired boss decisions.
