The video was shot using a Panasonic DMC-ZS3 Lumix digital camera in AVCHD Lite, (eg 1280 x 720p HD), which is one of the newer, more efficient modes of video. AVCHD Lite was developed jointly by Panasonic and Sony. Still, the six videos come to around 1.4 gigs.
I provided email to Jim's widow, Sandy, and her three kids, my kids, Jeff, Joy, Hal, etc, so my web server might be getting hit hard right now, especially if most people are trying to view the video directly off the server. I would have loaded everything to Youtube, but the video includes people other than myself, so I decided not to. I use Suddenlink as my ISP. SuddenLink provides a high speed fibber optic cable modem connection to my network, which includes my web server, for $85.00 per month. I'll check to see if my wife is downloading any music or movies to her computer, which might be taking up bandwidth. Perhaps thing will speed up later tonight, but all I have is cable modem speed.
