To repeat the OP: "(Eventually, I'll be moving the client to a better mail provider, where the spam won't be getting to his desktop. I think the desktop is the last place you want to be filtering, but that's his situation, for now.)" This client is not technologically savvy nor interested in learning to be. He has Outlook on his desktop and Blackberry. How the mail gets to both devices is PFM and he's perfectly happy with that. I'm inclined to go with Google Apps, the business edition, for him, as they support the Blackberry, have sync tools to keep Outlook, Google and Blackberry in sync, support IMAP4 and do a pretty good job of filtering. -- Ted Roche Ted Roche & Associates, LLC http://www.tedroche.com _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[email protected] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
